Today’s message is about cultivating the inner glow of the loving light that’s always within you.

Ever notice how when someone says, “I don’t care what other people think,” some part of you recoils? That’s because it’s completely natural to care about the opinions of those around you!

Yet, like all things, a natural desire for acceptance can go too far when your inner sense of worth relies solely on external sources, such as compliments, appreciation, attention, and approval. There’s a significant difference between chasing light vs. being light!

When it comes to sensual wellness, this can look like over-focusing on a partner’s opinion, distracting you from the moment, “Are they having fun? Do I smell funny? Have I turned them off?”

Supplying yourself with love, safety, and a sense of belonging establishes a healthy foundation for a fulfilling and joyful life. Because, in truth, the most radiant acceptance you ever receive is the kind you nurture within yourself.

In Tarot, the Sun archetype reveals radiance isn’t something outside of you to be chased — but something already inside, waiting to be cultivated.

The Sun card mantra is, “In wholeness, I shine like the sun, and I am happy.” Where in your day can you remind yourself that you can create your own wholeness, happiness, and brightness?

1. Ground: Get cozy and close your eyes as you inhale through the nose, allowing your chest and belly to fully rise. Exhale, imagining the worries of the day fall away.

2. Cultivate: Inhale, placing a hand over your heart. Focus on its rhythm, visualizing bright light filling your heart space — this is your glow of self-love. Continue breathing, allowing this light to expand from your heart center until it envelops your entire body.

4. Affirm: Say, “I’m worthy of love and belonging. I’m safe, I’m whole, I’m enough.”

5. Culmination: When the meditation feels complete, gently return awareness to the physical space you’re in. Wiggle fingers and toes. Smile in appreciation of the peace you’ve created.

Adding the Sun Meditation to your routine can deepen your sense of love, safety, and belonging, reminding you that you’re in charge of your inner worth and deservingness.
